Broken Promises

~*Broken Promises*~

Last year, you promised me that we would go,
This year I said yes, but you said no.
You always leave me out on things that you do,
That's why I'm writing this poem, especially for you.

You're always making promises, that you never keep,
Whenever you break these promises, it really makes me weep.
Why do you say these things, why won't you keep your word?
I hope while you're reading this, that my voice is heard.

How can you do this to people, over & over again?
Do you think you're the boss, & that you always win?
You have to end this cycle, you have to end it now,
Before reality sets in, and hits you with a POW.

You always say things, that you never do,
That's the main reason why nobody likes you.
You're just a mean person, with such an ugly heart,
You think you're so intelligent, but you're not very smart.

You never listen to suggestions; you do things your own way,
That's why in the future, I know that you will pay.
You can't be mean to others & expect them to be nice,
So stay the way you are, and you will pay the price.
